ABOUT ME

BEHIND THE LENS

Hello! I am Mikala Compton. I'm from Shawnee, Kansas and I am a photojournalism major at the University of Missouri. I am currently employed as a photography intern at Mizzou Publications and a photographer for The Maneater, where I also occasionally work on design and graphics. Photojournalism speaks to me the most but I enjoy all forms of photography.

I hope to work for a magazine or newspaper publication as a staff photographer or photo editor in the future.
